INTRODUCING THE USE YOUR HEART TEE!
"I, like many others, have been deeply affected by the divisiveness in this country, which appears to be magnified more so now than ever. I wanted to do something to help bring people together, but I didn't know what. A few friends suggested designing a tee and donating the profits to an organization that protects people who may feel threatened in this present climate. So that's what I did. I feel like we can all agree that this is an important time to use your heart.
I hope you like the "Use Your Heart" Tee. Use #UseYourHeartTee and tag @UseYourHeartTee to show your support."

SECRET ROAD RECORDS IS PROUD TO PRESENT ITS FIRST RELEASE, ARUM RAE'S LONERS EP!
Indie soul singer and songwriter Arum Rae went from performing on any stage possible to touring with the likes of Gary Clark, Jr. and B.B. King, and independently releasing her 2014 Warranted Queen EP acclaimed by Noisey, Spin, Paste, and more. Her story comes into focus on 2016’s Loners EP and forthcoming full-length debut for Secret Road Records.
In addition to performing most of the instruments, Arum produced all of the EP, with the exception of the first single, "Wasn't My Time," which was produced by Katalyst (Kanye West, X Ambassadors, Eminem). It’s distinctly her vision. Now, Arum’s stories have the power to resound with listeners worldwide on Loners. “I hope when people hear my music they can find a sense of themselves in it,” she leaves off. “Maybe they can relate to it, and it might move them.”
Arum Rae is currently on tour in support of Rodriguez, with stops in Canada, Chicago, NYC, and Washington D.C.. Check out the dates and purchase tickets here!
For further updates on Arum and her forthcoming full-length, visit her website here!
Secret Road's own Katie Jelen, (Artist Relations/Publishing), was recently featured in Noise Trade's One-on-One interview. She chatted about the ins and outs of music supervision and how songs are placed in your favorite TV shows and films. Check it out here!
For the second year in a row, Secret Road and ASCAP Latino sponsor the 2nd Annual, The Bridge Songwriting Camp, taking place in Los Angeles, CA, in the late month of May 2015. The Bridge develops from a place + creative spirit of brining together some of Secret Road’s top sync writers and ASCAP Latino’s top songwriting talent. And over the course of three days, creating a space where such talents collaborate to create songs in English, Spanish, and Spanglish for film/TV, advertising, and cuts.

"El Otro Yo" ("The Other Me") by Pilar Diaz was featured in episode 619 of the hit series Castle - watch the episode here!
The reflective and melodic track set the perfect sonic background for its use where Castle & Beckett continue to talk to a character about a case at a salsa club. Listen to "El Otro Yo" here.
We're proud to support Us & Our Daughters by releasing their latest EP All That We Once Were on Secret Road Records. All That We Once Were represents a new chapter for Us & Our Daughters' Phillip LaRue. For the couple, this EP is a celebration of the beautiful and chaotic journey of love. Recorded in an old house outside of Nashville, the sound is simple and raw, going back to their roots of early folk and alt country albums.
You can download their EP here!
