After building a following by writing and performing in his hometown of Tyler, TX, Chance competed on season 9 of the hit TV show, The Voice, at age 15. His experience on the show and working with coach Adam Levine further advanced his knowledge and confidence as an artist. When the show wrapped, he began working with Secret Road Music Publishing as a songwriter and saw immediate sync success. His single "Up Up, & Away" landed in the film Five Feet Apart, charting globally on Shazam and earning over 15 million streams to date.

Most recently, Chance co-wrote "Conversations In The Dark," the lead single from John Legend’s new album, Bigger Love. Legend premiered the song on NBC’s This Is Us and released a David Guetta Remix and Lindsey Stirling Violin Remix.
