Based in London, Au/Ra creates a uniquely emotive world that explores the darker sides of humanity through raw, relatable storytelling. Her music captures the blurred lines of the internet age, where reality and illusion collide, establishing her as a distinctive voice for a generation navigating its hopes, anxieties, and contradictions. Along the way, she has built a devoted fanbase known as the “green beans.”

Au/Ra has landed two UK Top 40 hits, including the platinum-certified “Panic Room,” which has surpassed 300 million streams, and “i miss u” with Jax Jones. Her collaboration with Alan Walker, “Darkside,” has earned more than 700 million streams globally. To date, she has amassed over 1.7 billion streams, 5 million monthly Spotify listeners, and more than 300 million video views. Her recent single “CRACK!” has already surpassed 500,000 video views and earned a nomination at the 1.4 Music Video Awards 2026.

On June 26, Au/Ra released her debut album, heartcore, via Polydor Records. Blending ethereal pop, electronica, hyperpop, and alt-rock, the 16-track concept album explores anxiety, identity, betrayal, and healing through a dark and imaginative hero’s journey.

“heartcore is a concept album where I open the dungeon of my mind for listeners to climb inside,” Au/Ra explains. “I created a character to help me process the real-life trauma of my girlhood, and how I healed from putting all my self-worth into being an artist.”
